WHEN TO ARRIVE: Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your evaluation time.  Park in
Parking Lot 12 which is adjacent to the Music Department. Parking permits can be purchased from the meter in parking lot. The cost is $4.00 per day. The meter will accept both cash and credit card. The fine for not having a parking permit is $40.00.

*REGISTER IN THE DANIEL RECITAL HALL FOYER. Check in on both days if you are supposed to be there for both days. The Daniel Recital Hall Foyer can also serve as a Parent Lounge. Please remain quiet in the foyer.

PIANO WARM-UP ROOMS are B1, B10, B11, B12 and B13 on a first-come, first-serve basis. If there is another student waiting in line, be courteous and limit your warm-up time to 10 minutes.

THEORY AND EAR-TRAINING TESTS: Both tests will be given only on Saturday, April 4  in Room A311 (the Band and Orchestra Room.) Please be especially quiet, as both tests are given in the same room. If you have a portable CD player with earphones, please bring it for your ear-training test. The Theory Room hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The Theory Room will be closed promptly at 6:00 p.m. No Theory Test will begin after 5:00 p.m.

PREPARATION BEFORE CM DAY: Put your name on your music. Mark all selections with measure numbers along the left side of each page. Clip the pages that you will be performing and decide upon your preferred performance order. No photocopies of music are allowed under any circumstances.  Bring two original copies if you are using music for your performance.

ON CM DAY: Arrive at your Performance Evaluation Room at least 15 minutes before your scheduled Evaluation Time. Bring your music and put the pieces in the order in which you would prefer to play them. Dress neatly (no jeans or T-shirts) and wear shoes appropriate for pedaling. Dress for the weather, as it may be cold and rainy and you will be waiting outside. Greet the evaluator with “Good morning” or “Good afternoon” and leave with a “Thank you.” Remember to take your music home with you.
